The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Adding Bryce Huff by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.
