The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Steelers watched Xavier Watts slide 40 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Terrel Bernard gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
