The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Javion Cohen at slot 122 regardless, 47 picks early. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They banked enough surplus on DeJean to cover a lot of smaller sins. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
