Williams is the Bears' new face under center. Grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They are betting Powers-Johnson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Wilson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
