Somebody in pick No. 132 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Vikings sat still while Armand Membou, the No. 22 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In the end it comes back to Ashton Jeanty, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
