Somebody in slot 224 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Quinshon Judkins, the No. 86 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting Campbell proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
