You could see the war room lean forward. Amarius Mims at No. 51 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Reaching for Turner III left real value on the table behind him. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman went begging. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
