The Broncos answered their biggest question with McCarthy. Grade: B-.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Broncos committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

McCarthy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Jackson at that price is a win they earned. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
