The Giants worked the phones like thieves and earned a A-.

The war room fell hard for Will Howard, and it showed at the Round 2 slot: 58 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Lundt at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Trevon Diggs leading the way.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
