Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Colts spent No. 227 on Tanner McLachlan, a name the board had a full 40 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Newton pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman still on the board. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Landing Rosengarten that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
