The Steelers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Bralen Trice, the No. 63 name on the board, in Round 3, Pick 35. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Jefferson left real value on the table behind him.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while quarterback and tight end went begging. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
