Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Titans for Fairchild: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Titans watched Dylan Fairchild slide 112 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Abdul Carter
In pick No. 3 they get a disruptor off the edge at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori in slot 35 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick65 Rnd3 Tre Harris
Circle this one: Tre Harris at No. 65 is a fall that decides a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick67 Rnd3 Jalon Walker
Jalon Walker at Round 3, Pick 3 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick101 Rnd3 T.J. Sanders
T.J. Sanders in the 101st overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick103 Rnd4 Colston Loveland
They will replay Colston Loveland at the 103rd pick for years; that is how good the value is. It fills a real need, too.
Pick118 Rnd4 Aireontae Ersery
They robbed the room for Aireontae Ersery here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick140 Rnd5 Dylan Sampson
Steal is underselling it; Dylan Sampson at pick 140 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick167 Rnd5 Dylan Fairchild
You do not let an offensive lineman like Dylan Fairchild reach the 167th pick and blink. They did not. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick176 Rnd6 Billy Bowman Jr.
The board fumbled Billy Bowman Jr. all the way to pick No. 176, and they scooped it up. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick239 Rnd7 Antwaun Powell-Ryland
Antwaun Powell-Ryland at slot 239 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
