Best value of the weekend goes to the 49ers for Hadden: D.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The 49ers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Hadden value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
