The Falcons got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

There is reaching, and then there is Dayon Hayes at the 242nd pick. The Falcons jumped the board by 72 and dared it to prove them wrong. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.

Malachi Moore in No. 128 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

Tyler Shough slid further than he should have, and the 154th overall pick is lovely value for the quarterback. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

Seth McLaughlin at Round 5, Pick 32 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
