Larceny in the 135th overall pick lands the Commanders a D+, Beck and all.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Commanders shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

Clark has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Spending an early pick on safety with interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Getting Beck where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
