The Cowboys finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Cowboys, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

The whole projection now runs through Drake Maye; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
