The Cowboys finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D+. The Cowboys spent real capital to be 94 picks early on Jordan Jefferson, and the board is going to hold them to it.
Whatever Caleb Williams becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.
They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. King falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
