Somebody took the Panthers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.
