A costly weekend of dealing drags the Broncos to a D.

Somebody took the Broncos to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with linebacker, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. McCaffrey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
