If confidence were a draft strategy, the Steelers would have aced it. Brian Ugwu at the Round 7 slot is 47 spots clear of where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hart. They went 9 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
