Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Ravens: B-. The Ravens put a flag in the ground for Trevin Wallace, 68 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
However the rest shakes out, Edwards at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
Pick Analysis
Pick44
Rnd2
Chris Braswell
They paid sticker price for Chris Braswell in Round 2, Pick 12, and that is fine. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick62
Rnd2
Kingsley Suamataia
They took Kingsley Suamataia at par in pick No. 62, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick77
Rnd3
Ja'Lynn Polk
Ja'Lynn Polk at the 77th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick93
Rnd3
Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson in No. 93 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick113
Rnd4
Cole Bishop
A quiet steal in pick 113: Cole Bishop for less than the market said. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick130
Rnd4
Mason McCormick
A premium they did not need to pay, Mason McCormick a notch or two before his time. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick165
Rnd5
Trevin Wallace
Trevin Wallace at the 165th pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick218
Rnd6
Daijun Edwards
Daijun Edwards at the 218th overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick228
Rnd7
Caedan Wallace
Caedan Wallace in the Round 7 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick250
Rnd7
Marcellas Dial
Nothing to complain about; Marcellas Dial went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
