The Jets went off the board in a big way for Jaylen Reed, 31 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Riley value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
