The Seahawks won the night they stopped Allen from sliding. Grade: B.

The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Braelon Allen, the No. 159 name on the board, sitting there at the 194th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

They will answer for taking S-EDGE early while wide receiver, linebacker and other spots went begging. The Robinson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
