Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Buccaneers were there to profit. Sam Leavitt, the No. 38 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 75th overall pick.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Adding Dallas Turner by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
