The Bills spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Anthony Gould, the No. 143 name on the board, in the 204th overall pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Bills indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots stayed open.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
