They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, with J.J. McCarthy leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
