The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Commanders watched DJ Giddens slide 34 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They are betting Hamilton proves the room right and everyone else wrong. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
