This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ryan Flournoy, the No. 204 name on the board, stolen at No. 228.

They will need Taylor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
