If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bills would have aced it. Tanor Bortolini at slot 163 is 24 spots clear of where he belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Newton steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
