The Broncos let Legette fall into their laps, and walked away with a D+.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They will answer for taking cornerback early while interior defensive lineman, edge rusher and other spots went begging. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They are betting Bertrand proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

That Legette pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
