The Broncos drew a line under the quarterback search with McCarthy: D.

Somebody took the Broncos to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The whole projection now runs through J.J. McCarthy; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The cost of the McCarthy reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

However the rest shakes out, Berger at that price is a win they earned.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
