The Broncos cashed the board's mistake on Abrams-Draine: D.

Somebody took the Broncos to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The Broncos indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots stayed open. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Getting Abrams-Draine where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Nathan Shepherd gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
