Cory DRAFTING FOR THEBroncos

Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall

FutureB
The Broncos did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. Every other box got a look, but quarterback did not. The Broncos will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.
They will need Hall to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick33
Rnd2
Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson at the 33rd pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick39
Rnd2
Keon Coleman
Keon Coleman in slot 39 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick65
Rnd3
Xavier Legette
Xavier Legette in No. 65 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick76
Rnd3
Cade Stover
Cade Stover in the Round 3 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick121
Rnd4
Blake Fisher
Blake Fisher in pick 121 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick136
Rnd4
Roger Rosengarten
No edge and no loss on Roger Rosengarten in Round 4, Pick 36; it is a wash and a sensible one. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick147
Rnd5
Luke McCaffrey
A straight-up fair deal on Luke McCaffrey at pick No. 147, value and slot in agreement. The roster fit checks out.
Pick203
Rnd6
Nathaniel Watson
Nathaniel Watson at the 203rd overall pick is a conviction pick that outran the value. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick207
Rnd6
Gabe Hall
They went early on Gabe Hall in the 207th pick, and the value did not follow. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
