Goncalves should have been long gone. The Jaguars pounced, and earned a B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Jaguars watched Matt Goncalves slide 39 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Mekhi Wingo slid further than he should have, and pick No. 116 is lovely value for the interior defensive lineman. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
