A respectable, level-headed haul for the Cowboys: B+.

The Barryn Sorrell pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 101 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Shough. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Lukas Van Ness gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
