The phones sank the Broncos this weekend: C-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Hayden Hatten in No. 241, a good 60 spots before the room expected him. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C- in the wash.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. It is not that Hadden is a bad player; it is that the Broncos had louder needs to answer first. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Liufau steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

If Dallas Turner and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
