The rest of the league will want that one back. Donovan Smith tumbling to the Chargers in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The cost of the Hemingway reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
