The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

The Brandon Coleman pick is the one that will follow the Bears into the fall. They took him 63 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Drake Maye is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
