The phones sank the Cowboys this weekend: D-. Some picks age like wine; Garrett Dellinger at pick No. 217 will need to, sitting 64 spots clear of his grade. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
