The Chiefs bet big and early on Hayden Conner, 45 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. The final tally is a middling C+.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Porter pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, tight end and other spots still on the board. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
