The Chargers let Ulofoshio fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Chargers came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The veteran additions, Zach Tom chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
