You build a draft on nights like this. Christian Mahogany had no business being available in pick No. 225, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The Sanders reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
