There is reaching, and then there is Eric Gentry at Round 7, Pick 40. The Rams jumped the board by 100 and dared it to prove them wrong. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
