Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jihaad Campbell got past him. The 49ers do not have to explain a thing at the Round 3 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
