Daniels is the Bears' new face under center. Grade: A-.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The Davis pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jayden Daniels and all.
