The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Brooks: A. You could see the war room lean forward. Tahj Brooks at Round 6, Pick 15 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The Fairchild reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Porter pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.
Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
