The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a A. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 74 spots for Bru McCoy, and value like that does not grow back. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.
Henderson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
In the end it comes back to Walter Nolen, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
