Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B+
ValueB- NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Raiders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B+.

The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Dante Moore, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

If Adebawore pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

On value alone, Green makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick2 Rnd1 Dante Moore
Dante Moore at pick No. 2 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick16 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker. More want than need.
Pick36 Rnd2 Caleb Lomu
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Caleb Lomu. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick67 Rnd3 A'Mauri Washington
They did well to land A'Mauri Washington in pick 67, just ahead of his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick102 Rnd4 Chandler Rivers
Chandler Rivers is a better player than the 102nd pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick117 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
A straight-up fair deal on Zachariah Branch at the Round 4 slot, value and slot in agreement. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick134 Rnd4 Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the 134th overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick174 Rnd5 Connor Tollison
Connor Tollison in slot 174 is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick182 Rnd6 Adepoju Adebawore
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Adepoju Adebawore well ahead of where he belonged. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick185 Rnd6 Darius Taylor
No drama and no debate, Darius Taylor went about where he belonged in pick No. 185. The roster fit checks out.
Pick219 Rnd7 Taylen Green
They will replay Taylen Green at the 219th pick for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
