Maye is the Patriots' new face under center. Grade: B.

The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Landing Johnson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
