Boards are made to be trusted, and the Titans shredded theirs for Patrick Payton. He came off 49 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Titans indulged a want in Everette while a need in running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open.

The Everette steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
